Just like Arnold, "It's back!" Hooray! The library subscription has restarted.
If anyone wants to enter (Aristo?), maybe we can win a subscription in case there's another disruption.

Perhaps some kind soul out there has copies of Feb, Mar, Apr, & can post them.

The official solution won't be available until next month, unless I figure it out.
I'll post the remainder of last year's puzzles in between.

Enjoy.

Hiya aristo & Greedy kite,

Syzzie sent me this and I printed it off last night, I've done well on the left hand side and got 4 in the North-East corner, but can't seem to get a sniff in the South-East corner. The closest I have to that area is 41 & 53 Across. I can't get the three Theme words but have ideas on a few of the variations.
I had to look in the Urban Dict to check my answer for 19 Across which I am now happy with.
I have 6 letters in 1 Across, and that can only be one answer to the variation, but can't get the theme at 48 Across.
33 Across is a bit vague for now and 33 Down is holding me back (is it the Italian explorer?)
Some hints (not too many) would be most appreciated, maybe a nudge in the right direction please chaps.

33a is an American breakfast cereal with a goofy name. 33d is indeed the name of the explorer, but in this case it refers to a place named after him.

47a is also an American trade name. Have you ever seen the sitcom M*A*S*H?

Thanks aristo,

I have the first 6 letters of 33 across, but the clue is throwing me with the bracketed word, thought it may be an anagram, but if I drop IE for 'that is', where is the square in Rome?

I've seen MASH aristo, but not very familier with it really, was there a character called Houlihan or something?

There's a character named Radar who always drinks this.
I thought 31d was superb.
