Thanks Pleb for help with 2 and 85 (which took some research on the computer). Now just have 46, 72 and 96 to do if anybody could help. Willing to give assistance with other clues.

felicity. it's hard to believe you have solved the other 97 but can't do these three. 46 is an anagram + an abbreviation. you must have blinkers if you can't see 72. 96 is a famous race.

felicity, the abbreviation in number 46 is not the usual one for sailors, more like in which they serve.
Help on this one please.
