AQER (nee rambler).
i think CLUE CHAIN, has worked well, and, dare i say, it's been most fun at it's most chaotic.
today, i've been in and out a lot so i couldn't set a clue and then wait(assuming i'd answered a clue)for an answer.
Also, like 'stophy, there are times when this site, for me, is sooo slow or i just can't get in at all.
Anyway, change it as much as you like, i'll try to take part.

But then we all have our quirks. I see that you prefer AB's Graham cracker to mine.

Sorry, aristo I missed your 147. I've been trying to post for several minutes to apologise.

I'll try not to let it fester.

trevor: Such intrigue. Surely AQER can't be rambler.

Hi all,

So sorry I missed out on the fun this week as I was out all day. When I did get back in I thought I could still enjoy an hour or so but just couldn't log on for love nor money.

(What a stupid expression...!)

I think 15 mins solving time is enough otherwise boredom can set in, especially if one isn't allowed to enter but has the answer.

I wonder whether, at the very start of the game, the players could just type one word in the "Reply Box" so that we know who's participating. Those joining (or leaving) in the middle of it can do likewise.

See next post as to how it could look, but not necessarily this word, perhaps just our names....?

On reflection I think my post at 143 was undemocratic. I think the fact that people complain that are locked out for a while knowing the answer demonstrates that if that rule were abolished the few same people would swamp the game and others would not get a look in. Having said that there is nothing to stop the person starting the game to change the rules to their ideas. I am happy to step aside and let someone else start next weekand do this.

I have just read phillip's comments on the PEER REVIEW site. I shall not be starting CLUE CHAIN next week so you have plenty of time to find someone else to do the job.
