Hi Jazzgirl,

We've both given Linton the same answer so we are attuned this morning. Yes, it's rather cold and it looks as though we - Cheshire - may well have more snow on Friday. Great!

Look after yourself.

Good Afternoon, All.

Agreed, the crossword wasn't too bad, although I did not know all the words. However, the word play was good, and the answers could be worked out, and the alien words confirmed.

Presently 'burning in' a new pipe. The process takes a few days, and then I am back to firing on all cylinders.

Hope you are all well, and surviving the cold.

Best wishes.

Hello all and hope you are keeping warm.

As per usual I am stuck this time in the bottom right hand corner

15Down, 20Down and 22 Across. I had never heard of Napoleon`s mother but made a guess at the lady`s name and it seems to be right.

By the way, you are a clever jazzie girl! Thanks for your help with last weeks`s puzzle (which I actually managed to solve when I got home) and also the week before when I was completely stumped by George Orwell as I had been waylaid by the TV Big Brother, which I didn`t even watch.

Caravaggio-
Thank you. I see it now, but would not have spotted that. In fact, i had to look up the definition. I was thinking of the wrong type of 'key'!

I see someone is still struggling with RT6 and brought it in front of RT7 so am just seeking to remedy this and put the numbers in order. Must have a tidy mind today, which I dont usually!!

Thanks Jazzgirl for your answers. When I type my queries out I often seem to get the answer on the way home.

Hullo all - its unusually cold down here in the English Riviera - so maybe we are all suffering for a change. Any extra clues to 21A I've got -a-e-e-i- but can't find any words that fit and make sense of the clue.
