berkstopper, that name seems so familiar but I can't quite place it. it's rambler who's gone on the pull isn't it? I've no idea where mog has gone, perhaps he's doubling up with rambler.

I was interested to see aristo’s reference to gladly my cross eyed bear. It was used as a gag in the Perishers cartoon strip in the Daily Mirror back in the 1970s. It obviously crossed the pond.

Yes...I would have liked to have been around for it as well...but wasn't!

Maybe by next week, things may have calmed down.
