I would have volunteered, but it is doubtful I will be around on Thursday.

I think CLUE CHAIN is a brilliant addition to the "weekly events".

rambler, I was distracted earlier as you know and since then have had visitors.
I cannot be relied upon to post at a particular time, as I am not on here 24/7 (although it sometimes feels like it!)
I do outdoor photography sessions a.m. and sometimes get home by midday, but more often it is not until 13.30 or later. Depends how things work out. It was fun as well as chaotic and hope it continues. I am sure things will get better.

Thanks for your message, jazzgirl. The intro states quite clearly that the first to answer will be asked to start the game the next time. Last week the person who answered the first clue was then not available to start the game at around noon. We now have the situation where it would seem nobody will be around at noon next Thursday. If you post a clue on this game you are committed to a maximum thirty minutes to ensure the chain is not broken. I'm simply not prepared to undertake to start the game every week. I feel that the new intro makes things clearer and the game should work more smoothly. As I said before, if people want this game to continue they must be prepared to play their part.

Just my main hobby (as well as helping others with their outdoor photography)and I should do more of it. But I took up cryptic crosswords to keep my brain going and now it seems to have taken over. But I will now probably spend less time on here.
So more time among the wild animals, birds and insects. ;)

Hi jazzgirl. I love photography, and try to do as much as I can. I take photos for the local community newsletter, local events and suchlike and also run the community newsletter Facebook page. It gives me something to do along with the crosswords! This week and the last few have been rounds of doctor,s specialists and tests, so hopefully someone will be able to find out what the problem is and sort me out, as it's not the usual bone problems! If I was a horse I'd have been long gone to the knackers yard I think! xx

sally, sorry to hear of the latest problems. I hope, and feel sure, you will get sorted soon. I am off to the land of nod now. Been a long day.:)

Thanks,ixion but perhaps eight hours is a bit long to expect the game to run. I really don't want people to feel that I 'own' this game- I just want to hand it over to the forum to enjoy. I'll just leave it open for debate and hope a solution is found.
