Very old joke,used to be the difference between Bing Crosby and Walt Disney.Bing sings and Walt Disney.
Bit like the joke ,is that a doughnut or a meringue,no you are quite right it is a doughnut.

I think the andy you are thinking of might be "andy from the 'well watp". He does the Daily Record on a Saturday. If you Google andy from the 'well etc you will find some of his old "contributions".
