I was very lucky to win not one but two solid silver fountain pens last summer in the Sunday Times. I have just won a Whitackers Almanack in The Saturday Telegraph GK crossword. I would be interested to know what others have won.

Catholic Herald again, last week. Prize was a DVD this time. It is usually a book.

Also won Nardini fish tea for two a month or so ago. A bit smelly to keep in the trophy cabinet, though.

I once won a beautiful Colibri pen, can't remember what crossword, but sadly I can't get the refills any more!

Could that be because it's actually a lighter.

No terry as was, it is very definitely a pen. :0) Gold with blue enamel, and a rollerball refill. Apparently they are collectable, but I've never tried to sell it!

It is still possible to get refills for your Colibri lighter,sorry pen!!
I think it from somewhere in the Netherlands,but at what price I don't know.

i won silver for backstroke at a local swimming pool.
i think my prize was a packet of polo mints or something similar.how cool is that? - yes, i know, very cool indeed!!!
