I'm stuck on 6d. Dominican honey-eater. I've got ?R??R. I've got SNAGGED for 7 down but I'm not sure about it. Any hints, anybody.

Now I've got KNOTTED for 7d and FRIAR for 6d. What is the honey-eater connection?
