Should add that 4D is another proper noun - not in Chambers

Yes, HAR?????T.

Thanks for 6D.

Is the first vowel of 4D an E? Not that it helps much.

Oh wow, I'd had Old tiMER IS SAt in the pub for ages, no wonder I couldn't get 12A or 15A.

Thanks - it didn't help much. I have a C shared with 12A, which is suspect because, like this, it's a proper noun. Is that right?

Even after this there are still five to go.

Rob P - there's no C in 12ac. It's a proper noun. Think of surname connected with MI5, also name of Lancashire town.

Thanks. Pricing seemed so much more appropriate. But I still can't get 4D, so, having spread coleslaw liberally over the fridge, I shall take a break to clean it (and me) up.
