Requests for help should normally include the clue itself, the number of letters in the answer and details of those you already have. Any special instructions or additional information, common in Listener puzzles, should also be included.
Hints only, please, no answers.

The theme...
Help with the theme may also be sought here. Please aim for just a nudge, a pointer in the right direction - enough to help, but not so much that it spoils the puzzle for other solvers.

If anyone feels that too much has been revealed, theme-wise, they should get in touch with the site administrator - Norah.evoluted@aol,com. As Norah errs on the side of caution, anything iffy is likely to be removed.

The Listener is a unique puzzle and should be treated with respect.

Great fun - a very distant memory.
We expected this to take longer than it did but it seemed to come together quite quickly.

All done apart from “1 down” where I have 6 letters but no inkling of how to interpret the clue.

And as so often, posting here brings its own enlightenment. Spent too long stuck with JKR though - lots of red herrings. Many thanks, almasti.

One down also the last for me. Great fun, thanks to Almasti. The clues were pitched just right for me, bearing in mind the cold solving.
