Good fun, quick fill. One or two trickier parsings.

Got the theme early on with help of 7d and the title. Also “initials” in the preamble cuts down the list of possibilities. I was pleased to be reintroduced to the work though.

The thematic quote extends, I believe, to part of the second line.

Neat construction with so much theme and yet avoiding obscurities.

Thanks to Fire.

Agreed Jono

Two poets are normally known by their initials and last name, and I initially expected the other. Like you, 7D put me in the right direction.

I had a lot of trouble with this one until I realised that the answer to 3 across is not 'ARTISAN CAVES' although I believe that the Spectator columnist Catriona lives in one.... The correct answer is a bit further down market.

Rubric should have said 'first line and part of second'. Annoying to be wrong - footed unnecessarily.
