"Vision"as in night vision.

Bauble, lacking vision doesn't apply to sight, it's more a case of having no aspirations, ambitions. The democrat is the usual abbreviation, the papers = a bunde/a stack of paper and 'bar' is not at all legal, it means without (all over bar the shouting is an example).
