I think 6d should probably read “I’m not saying …”, rather than “I’ve not saying …”

Good day all.

That was towards the hard end of the spectrum for me.

Some key words that opened up others but very tricky clues.

But after completion I can see there were great clues.

As a civil engineer 12a has to be my CoD. I spent ages racking my brain for terms for that part of a system. It stitched me up!

Although, still not sure about my 1a answer.

Hi Yevrah. I left 1a to the end. It parses 1,3 where the 3 part is Latin.

Yes, 12A is v clever, but I liked 3A best.
I can’t parse 7D, 17D or the middle 2 letters of 21D. Hints welcome.
