Yes, Esme is the answer there. I'm stuck though on 10 accross: What finally forced Batman's foes to flee - even Mr Freeze but not The Penguin, surely... (4,4) and 3 down /7 down: Wasted and written off forever, as recorded...(5,4). Any help with these clues is greatly appreciated.
