The clue is "Repair shop said to provide bathroom item" and from the three letters I had, it appeared that SOAP DISH was the answer. I get DISH for "shop" but how in the heck does SOAP mean "repair?" Thanks.

The whole is an anagram of "shop said".

And the 'repair' indicates that the solver is to fix,sort the next bit 'shop said'.

Oh, OK. I missed that - I read the the word "said" and assumed a homonym. Thanks.

I get it now. "Said to" implied homonym to me, then with "dish" being a weak synonym for "shop" it threw me. I was overthinking it. Thanks.
