15d Do one-eighty here and there in boat race (5-4) I have A_O_T - _A_A
17d A rocky gap, one near peak (6) I have A_O_E_E

Might the last A in 15 actually be an E? I've not fully parsed the answer that woulld give, though....

17d. a (gap one)* gives APOGEAN, Doesn’t quite fit your letters.

15d is ABOUT FACE, so it looks like you have 25a “Puts down in the correct order” as PLACES, when it should actually be PREENS (down meaning hair in this context)
