All completed except 25A. Against standing out in heaven (6, 2 words)
Also my 'three lesser-known fruity contributors....' don't make any sense to me. I got them from 2, 15, and 26D
Help please

Sybila -- in 25a, definition is last 2 words. "Against" (2 letters); "standing out" (4 letters) - the wordplay coincides with the word break.

I haven't a clue as to how the "fruity contributors" connect to the rest of the puzzle.

Sybila, The 'fruity contributors' are varieties of a fruit, leading to where they are grown locally, and another event.

The IQ this weekend was the gentlest of the trio, I thought. 1d was possibly the trickiest but memories of Paul (not the setter) came to my rescue. Thank you, Vagans.
