Verno, does DEMOS fit?

Mattrom, I thought of that too, but my dictionary didn't validate Demos for the second clue.

Out of interest I did the puzzle. Demos is in fact the intended answer, though like Malone I can’t see how it fits the second definition.

Mattrom, thanks. If a display can be more than one demo, then I feel both definitions, clues, are pretty much the same.
