Thank you for everybody’s entry. As usual a high standard and thus makes judging difficult. Few comments:
• Bent Ray gets quite a few mentions. Is he some infamous physicist?
• Also notice flatulence appeared a couple of times
• rekal@21 with ‘Bending makes Enrico fart’, as I immediately thought of the great physicist Enrico Fermi
• Thanks for the clarification rafflesthegt for: ‘Little referee wearing German latex gear gives a bent wave’ as my knowledge of German latex manufacturers is not what it used to be
• Liked pouletroyale@34 with ‘Contact with stupid clairvoyant caused change of direction’
Anyway, my results:

3rd Place geeker@20 with ‘Optical effect of re-cut City fart noir’ because city fart noir is definitely my favourite file genre!

2nd Place tyke51@25 with ‘Ray goes on a bender after encounter with new medium’

(Ray had to feature somewhere in the standings)

1st Place was jono@31 with ‘Engineers frequently battle wave motion’
Excellent clue that made me think of renewable energy sources, and if only more of our leaders would do the same. Maybe more wind power:” Blow, baby, blow!” Wasn’t that Trump’s campaign slogan?

I do wish I could mention more because there was much creativity on show. Well done everyone.

Prizes

Many thanks Jimmy, very kind of you.
Knowing you were a physics teacher I did try to work Snell into a clue but to no avail.
I’ll save the clips until after the football!
Cheers all!
