Many thanks to everyone for a cracking set of entries this week - inventive, varied, and full of mischief.
Clues from Motley, Paul, Swarbrules, Raffles, PouletR (welcome!), Geeker, Tyke and Simplesimon all caught my eye.

Standing out that little bit further are:
3rd place: Jono @28 with the elegant jade clue — a nicely assembled charade with a neat, lateral definition.
2nd place: Aristo @46 with a playful definition and a homophone that lands the joke with charm.
1st place: Jimmygtal @36 for his immaculate Mahler clue — a model of clean construction, smooth surface, and a dose of historical accuracy. Congratulations!
