I put many of the pieces together. Noticed ACROSTIC and also suspected a Nina in first and last rows.

However, as often happens with letter substitutions, I got the order wrong and entered the US car marque in the first clue in the 15th row. So never started down the rabbit hole.

Granted, I've never been interested in the Quick Crossword and haven't ever tried one, so might not have taken that step. 🤣
