Please can anyone help with parsing these?

24a: Please clap along with a group's finale (6) - APPEAL?

25a Unpleasant imp's trap cutting ferret and flipping duck (9) - HOBGOBLIN?

32a: Admission of guilt a little spit accepts after being rejected (7) - PECCAVI? (I know PECCAVI is Latin for "I have sinned", but how does the rest of it work?)

54a: Best kind of tablet in drink, originally effervescent (5) - ELITE?

55a: Call noble lady with lots of land (reportedly) for tourists (13) - HOLIDAYMAKERS?

33d: Slip in 28 Down [the answer to which was OPPOSING]? Check (11) - COUNTERFOIL?

I also take slight issue with 35a, where BARGAINS in the clue equates to BARTERS in the answer. These two words do not mean the same thing!

All correct.

32a It's 'spiv' not 'spit. Read the clue backwards starting from 'accepts'.

54a Drug (1 letter) + synonym of 'drunk' + first letter of 'effervescent'.

33d Synonym of 'opposing' + synonym of 'check' as in 'defeat', 'prevent'.

'Barter' as a verb is a synonym of bargain.
