motley@25: thanks for clarification. On a related (to ULTRACREPIDARIAN) note, I've considered using DUNNING-KRUGER or DUNNING-KRUGER EFFECT in Clueless/PR/WPR. But concluded it'd be too exotic.

[Geeker
I've looked up DUNNING-KRUGER EFFECT. A common example is that everyone considers that they are a better than average car driver!]

Geeker, SS says go for it - Dunning-Kruger. They were the winners of your Buridan’s Ass years ago so the members are well able to deal with obscure and exotic clues.

On with the analysis chore, and it looks close at the top.

ChrisE. I’m reminded of the teacher saying “ If 50% of the class can do better than the class average, why can’t the other 50%?”

Thirteen entrants this week and all the votes are in.
As expected a nail biting finish.

Votes as follows:

Paul and Jono 6 votes
Motley 8 votes
Tyke 11 votes
FieryJack 11 votes.

Hoping I've interpreted the rules correctly, the winner this week is FieryJack, who received 3 x 2 votes compared with Tyke's 2 x 2 votes.

Stand up to the republican leader at the heart of this madness (5)

Honourable mentions to Swarbrules and Paul for attempting the bonus word

Prizes to follow as the screen is jumping about
