I find that Chaliceas puzzles are nearly always elegant. If she were to improve the difficulty of the solve she would be right up there with some of the best setters. However, she does provide encouragement for new solvers, which is very important.

I have basically the whole thing but stuck on two clues -

2d, yes. Anagram of ea remedy. It’s in the dictionary.

9d is 3 words or 2 words and a symbol

3a the definition is the last 9 words. “Scrub” “Rid” and “Er” is the wordplay.
