Ok, I'm totally lost on the last few.

5/16 I'm erect, less floppy, observing gash (6,5).

Ratusratus if you invest in a copy of 'Turtleshead Revisited' it is an essential reference book for Viz crosswords. Eggwhite cannon is indeed in there (p227). :-)
