Slightly mixed response to the insectarium - I dislike seeing insects pinned to displays.

chrise: I’ve always been creeped out by stuffed animals, but when I was at my great-grandfather’s country place in Sweden last year my cousin pointed out some birds my grandfather had shot when he was a kid, probably around 1916, and it occurred to me that they were in far better shape than they would have been if he hadn’t shot them.
