I missed out a line, but you will work it out!

On of my favourite 'misheard lyrics' was written by the original songwriter (a la Jimi). I saw John Stewart in concert, where he claimed he sold Daydream Believer for $100 when he was broke, no royalties, nothing. So he had to change the lyrics to perform the song, viz: 'daydream deceiver and an old closet queen'. A good story, perhaps.

Certainly sings that on Lonesome Picker Rides Again but, with a little knowledge after twenty years in intellectual property, I don't think that would be enough to avoid infringement.

Still, never let the truth get in the way of a good story.
