Karen, you certainly are pardoned. Now, what about 5D? Hints anyone? If 25A is 'welly at no charge' then I'd like to know why! And, last one, 20D is 'not this one but the....' but who's the native?

Karen, you're great. I had mistyped 6D and had a wrong check letter (O instead of U). I've never heard this word anywhere... hang on let me google it..."involving frequent sex....". Well, f*** me, I learn something new every day! Now, who is that effin' native!?

Thanks Karen, FOOT (the bill), ale 'on the contrary' = REEB. I don't like 'on the contrary' for 'reversed' but hey, so what?
But who's the 'headless native' _OTHER? Your help appreciated. This damn Xword annoys me sometimes.

re "other", i'm thinking--as in one's "native" land, or one's "native" tongue--sans the first letter...
