Congrats buddy and thanks aristo. I'll look at the prizes soon.

The Sicilian link reminded me. Did you come across a detective series called "Montalbano"? We watched it, but using it to improve our Italian was like an Italian watching "Cracker"(set in Glasgow) to improve her English - the accent was impenetrable!
We both have studied Italian, but it took our visit to Rome to discover that it was very much Roman Italian that we had been taught.

chrise: Yes, familiar with Montalbano. The books are awful, the TV series much better, and eye candy. I love Sicily, especially Syracuse, wish I had a house there.
