I agree with you quisling and lumen but think all.buddy is saying is that the 'theme' is obvious when you see it. I too looked for something more convoluted in the end game ("sophisticated" isn t perhaps the best choice of words here )The clues and grid construction are excellent as is the placing of the hidden message.
