Thank you all for competing in Peer Review this week, a self-indulgent celebration of my own transition into adulthood yesterday - hopefully not drifting too far from sobriety.

A good number of great clues from a number of excellent setters made for a fantastic competition.

A smattering of votes came in for Paul@12, Jono@17, Mattrom@22 and Geting@53, all strong contenders which made the competition so tough.

Receiving 2 votes we have Drdub@51 - one of my favourites for its ingenious creation and elegance, and Jono again @20 who paints a vivid picture.

The winner by some margin, however, aside from his other successful clues was Jono@13 with a highly impressive 8 votes. A smooth surface and unique wordplay makes it a very worthy winner.

As a consequence, the ends of autumn months are dry (5)
