dorrien: As we pulled up to our hotel in Montreal a passerby in a pickup rolled down his window to yell “Bruins suck!” (we have Massachusetts plates). Does that mean “Welcome to Canada!”?

Aristo, based on the current standings, it was actually a pretty well-informed comment. Better than "Yankee go home", anyway.

Aristo: i am sure that the majority of Americans and Canadians rue the tensions of the day. I am embarrassed to hear national anthems being booed. Hopefully normality will return in 4 years.
