As there were no entries after 11 o'clock this morning, we've had time to examine each clue carefully and arrive at a shortlist before making the final decision.
We were looking, in particular, for a clue to use a contranym in its definition. Although definitions using alternatives to "autoantonym" were perfectly acceptable of course.

Whilst we like all the clues, not least because of the effort and skill that goes into their construction, unfortunately some do not make the shortlist.
