Thanks Buddy, that was good fun.

5d - I see C(aught) + L DISH for L-plate but that leaves "hi" for "law in Glasgow" which can't be right so I've obviously gone wrong somewhere?

Hi Bren, it's hil(l) [check law³ Chambers] a subtraction rather than container indicator.

Well done buddy, a good selection of clue devices; I particularly liked the smooth surface of the substitution anagram employed in 21a.

Thanks, buddy. Enjoyed it, 13 and 4 in particular very nice, plus at least one old PR / Clueless (forget which).
5 went over my head, but I could at least get the answer.

Thanks, Buddy, enjoyed the puzzle. I had to circle a few that I couldn't immediately parse, and go back to them - that's a good thing.

Good work Buddy. Despite having test solved this last year, I still had to think about a few.

Just read the Prolixic review and the solver comments on the BD site, all-in-all very positive. “Stretching solvers” is surely part the setter’s remit isn’t it?

Looking forward to the next one. Buddy’s been busy everyone!
