Very difficult this week. Can any help with this rambling novella of a clue?:

54a Narrow trousers beginning to chafe on boy with black belt, maybe stage performer (3,6)

From the crossing letters I've got it might be 'tap dancer'.

narrow is taper, trousers a containment indicator
Chafe
Dan - boy, possibly with black belt (judo)

Thank you, not what you might call an elegant clue.

Another ponderous clue, take a deep breath...

33d Northern Ireland deception covered up by London commoners, heading off complete chaos (12)

I don't have any crossing letters.

NI SHAM and the London “commoners” are fictional creatures (the common being Wimbledon). It’s a made up word.
