Indeed. 20th century artists beginning with K certainly appears to be the theme. The previous clue is “One that’s reportedly drunk at home - heavens! (9)” and later ones are “One that sounds like Epstein’s medium (4)” and “One turned up in Fresno, okay?(6)”
