If single cream is right, 18A could be enticed and 24A gnarled, but don't know how, can't fathom how compiler gets there!!!

cazzy, chrisg suggests UNDER-RATING for 1D but I can't confirm as I am blank on that side of the puzzle.
This compiler is too devious for words! - I bet even he can't explain some of his answers!
