Regarding 3 Down, which reads :- "River in children's game is one mentioned in Bible" (6) I have T-G-I- - the obvious answer is TIGRIS,
but I can only think of "tag" for the children's game, and if that enters the equation, I don't know what the answer would be.

Rocketman, tig is an alternative name for tag, so your answer is correct
