14a Cook bean, admitting it's disgusting for a snack (8) and 25d Portion of sorbet or an antiquated mince pie? (3) I think the answers are doughnut and orb but need help parsing them, please. I can see that orb is a hidden word but can't tie it in with the rest of the clue.

14a is UGH, that's disgusting, in DO, cook + NUT, bean, as in 'head
25d. 'mince pie' is Cockney slang for an eye. ORB is an old term for one.
