There's no shop open within 50 miles of here, so would some kind person be willing to scan the EV and post it here? Why the ST maintains the argument that because you can't "complete" the EV on line they won't publish it on the website eludes me. After all, we could all print the grid off and scan our completed version. Mad.

I don't know how to put a scan on here, but i can email you one cockie...alternatively wait for a link on AB from rickDGD usually about noon time.

Is the consensus that the first source to be written under the grid is 13a and not his partner at 34d ?

The sources (9 and 7 letters respectively) are taken from the eight surplus words, as per the instructions, and relate directly to the shared phrase; 13a/34d is a red herring, as is 33d.

Thanks spoffy. So what should be written under the grid are simply the sources spelled out by the first and third letters of the 8 superfluous words ?
