I have 4 left but maybe in reality only 3.

3d. Of bikers, armpits, bollocks and oaks (5) * A * R *

The other three are all connected .

22d Something causing friction perhaps, in dunky (6) I make it Rubber

Which means 25a Beaver cleaver becoming eaver cleaver (3) N*B (if rubber is correct) s . . .(K)NOB ?

And28a Bristolean's girlfriend, allegedly, the solver picked up E*E EVE?

Thanks in anticipation

28a EWE, homophone of you "the solver"

25a NOB correct, write it out as "no B" (beaver->eaver)

Hi everyone,

There's one I'm stuck on currently,

18d Foreign money invested in upstanding standard old bird with wizards sleeve (8) G?A?D?L?

The only word I can think of that fits is 'glandule', but I've got no idea how that fits into the clue.

Hi Jimmy,

Looks like 'foreign money' RAND inside GALF ('flag' or 'standard' reversed or' upstanding')

It's almost Gandalf the Wizard but other than that I'm at a loss?
