I would just like to say what a thoroughly enjoyable puzzle this has been, with excellent clues. The standard Times puzzle , (no. 28,392), was a real slog compared to the Jumbo!

I agree with both points rocketman, a lovely Jumbo, and I've pretty much given up on the Saturday standard cryptic.
