In this week's 'Jigsaw' there are only three 9-letter clues when the grid requires four entries of this length. Not sure if I'm missing something - I've downloaded from the Guardian website but it should be the same as the newsprint version.

There are five 10-letter entries so I'm guessing one of them should be 9. Anyone know?

Yes I had spotted this too., and come to the same conclusion as Buddy

All complete apart from one letter 29) it indicates tatties below mash, awfu lacking in crust ? (4)
I have SHA ?
Can’t parse this partly as I’m not sure if that is a print error and should be awful.
And yes 2) is 9 letters
Thanks .. once completed will be a weekend when I managed the inquisitor and azed in fairly quick fashion - a rarity

Aslac, it's a hidden so the missing (or not) 'l' doesn't matter.

PS I thoroughly enjoyed the Inquisitor and particularly enjoyed a refresher of the key event. 😄

I know the word awfu as a dialect version of awful, so it's a reference to a dialect answer.
