TOTING - (IMO) Straight clue is "Carrying" whilst "forward old drinking cup is" is TO TIG. A Tig is (apprently) an old drinking cup.

Thanks for that - I am away from home and away from Chambers! Now to think of an alternative clue...

Stuck on last two:

Shaving disparate groups from among Trappists, tonsured. RAU-E (Z outside grid)

Scotch stain round front of many a Scotsman's vest. SMM-T (E outside grid)

I have two to get. One was mentioned earlier, 30a.
for which I have FAR-T,with O ejected.
The other has not been mentioned at all - 16a, Neglect cat. I think the answer is OMIT with V ejected, so VOMIT? but why?

Thanks. Finished.

far-out = satisfying, I would never have got that. Ignored hyphens are tricky in AZED!
And cat is there in Chambers too, as you say, meaning vomit.
