Very enjoyable and easier than what I'd come to expect from a prize Paul. Favourites were 4,24 and 5d, plus 24,12 - which is now behaving like an earworm!

Hello all

Rattling along quite well (for me), and enjoying it, but I'm stumped with 22a/6d. I think I have the second word from the crossers but the first I cannot see.

BTW, FOI was 24,12a - the first time I've got a Spoonerism first!

Cheers all

Hi Philo,

22,6 - 3 letter "life force" inside an anagram "broadcast" - definition is "war hero's conception".

Hi everyone

Making slow and steady progress after starting at 3.00pm with breaks for various chores. I was pleased to get 22, 6 and 4, 19, but I'm stuck on most of SW corner including 13d and 24,12 ac. I always find the spoonerisms difficult. So some hints would be helpful. Have I got 18d right? I have D?E?S?P. I ask because I haven't got 25ac and can't find a word that fits.

Is 14d an anagram?

FOI 6ac. I'm sure 4,19 will feature as a COD
