Finished this satisfying puzzle, but a couple I can't parse.

48 Bans speaker backing target limits (9)
Looks like 'moritoria' but can't parse any bit of it.

55a Like top man and his unnamed son giving cost before haggling (6,5)
A: asking price.
Like top man gives 'as king' but how does 'his unnamed son' equate to 'price'?

49d Land legally grabbed by Walter Raleigh (5)
A: terra, inside 'walter raleigh'. It's the 'legally' that's puzzling me, the clue works without it so not sure why it's there.

Hi SB,

48 - Speaker = ORATOR inside Target = AIM reversed/backing

55a - King's son = PRI(n)CE minus "name"

49d - I wonder if it's just signifying it's in Latin although others may have a better suggestion.

I've just double-checked in Chambers and it says TERRA is used in legal contexts.

Thank you, being able to spell might have helped me understand 48a.

I am confident you would have parsed moratoria if you had the A, thus my smiley :)🤗
