A little trickier than yesterday's Prize - at least for me. FOI 1a followed by 9a. LOI 1d (and I'm still not sure of the parsing.) COD 26a. Very enjoyable overall. Thank you Everyman.

Yeah I'm finding it tough... 1D sounds like a ball game for girls or Canadian puckers without the H though :p

I'm quite sure of the answer to 1d, but have no idea of the parsing! It's a word I've seen several times in crosswords. Don't want to say more (spoilers)...

Didn't have a lot of trouble otherwise, about average in difficulty for Everyman aside from the pesky 1d.
I see the rhyming pair and an alliteration. The only "first letters" clue I noticed is short and perhaps overly easy/obvious.

Well 1D doesn't rhyme with oach... maybe watch some darts coverage on youtube :)

I'm stuck anyway... I have plausible answers to 4, 5 but none of those fit with my plausible answer to 9... also missing 8D (it's definitely not wank tissue, although I secretly hope it is, lol) and 13D

I modified my answer to 5D and I now have answers to 4D, 9A

Missing 2 now... 8D and 13D... although 15A is dubious and unparsed.

A definite step up in quality, which was pleasing, and I actually noticed a rhyming pair - which was nothing short of miraculous! 😁

19A also missing :(

I can't parse 5D either but it makes the other crossers work
