Hi Winnie. Bit confused here with your hint "think what soldiers used to take into battle to fight under.....' Which number clue are you referring to? Your hint seems to indicate an 8 letter answer. I was looking for help with clue 61 (11 letters).

and post No42 refers to question 1 as she states.

Thought I had solved them all but on counting them its wrong ,can you tell me please if no 42 starts or ends with T.

My answer is an anagram of the first two words - to do with maths. I'm intrigued as to sweetpea's anagram answer that ends in T.

I think it Elgin’s with T and is an anagram of two words in the clue.
Can you give me any hints for 40, 71, 91, please. And my answer to 1 begins with T and has nothing to do with banners!!! Oh dear.

Marmalade - re 40 - try looking for a three letter synonym for "world" / then put "the" in front of it / and something representing "love" after it!!

I have done all but number 97, and am really struggling with it - any suggestions welcome!
