Most enjoyable for me today as there were some lovely smooth surfaces. Too many good clues to pick a COD.
I can't understand why it took me so long to spot 21a though.

Hi Rossim,

21a - Alzy, in an earlier post, gave us "Britney Spears" = Presbyterian and it prompted me to look for others .....

the eyes = they see
silent = listen
dormitory = dirty room
astronomer = moon starer

there are so many good ones:-)

Well remembered Fop. 3,830 if anyone wants to look it up. And the rhyme that week was ‘plastic surgeon’. Both were clued as CADs.

I did laugh when 21a finally clicked. I’ve still a few in that bottom lefthand corner to solve - and progress is not being helped by the very unpopular 13d.

CAD = clue as definition, same as &Lit, it seems to have become the more popular term for some reason
